The Greene County Rams dropped a Heart of Iowa volleyball match Thursday to the Nevada Cubs in Nevada.
Game scores were 22-25, 7-25 and 13-25.
“I was very pleased to see us stay with a team like Nevada in the first game. We played very well,” coach Donna Carhill said. “We weren’t able to sustain that level of play for the other two games, but we continue to see improvement with each match.”
Katelyn Hagen was 13 for 13 serving with two aces and Alison Gallagher was eight for eight serving. Kenna Marquardt had three kills and Nadia Fisher had two. Hannah Promes was credited with eight assists.
The Rams are 0-2 in matches and 1-6 in HOIAC games.
